Brittany Ferries Stableford Qualifier - Saturday, 26 March
Congratulations to all those who entered the Brittany Ferries competition which was run in conjunction with the March Stableford Qualifier. With heavy rain over night and poor weather forecasted, well done to all those who braved the weather and didn't let the weather dampen their spirits.
Winners - Brittany Ferries vouchers
First place - David Hayward (37 points) - Brittany Ferries £150 Golf Break voucher, second place - Ron Johnson (37 points) - Brittany Ferries £100 Golf Break voucher and in third place - Paul Hembury (34 points) - Brittany Ferries £50 Golf Break voucher.
Vouchers will be with Eira in the office by the weekend in separate envelopes.
Winners - Stableford Qualifier
Division One - First place - David Hayward (37 points) - £30.86, second place - Charlie Lewis (32 points, countback 9) - £15.43 and in third place - Alan Todd (32 points) - £7.71.
Division Two - First place - Ron Johnson (37 points) - £49.71, second place - John Sheppard (33 points) - £24.86 and in third place - Peter Walker (32 points, countback 9) - £12.43.
Division Three - First place - Paul Hembury (34 points) - £44.57, second place - David Cunningham (32 points, countback 9) - £22.29 and in third place - Gerald Ramsell (32 points) - £11.14.
All monies are now available on the accounts in the professional shop.
Two Spots
Well done to the seven players who had a two spot on their card, each two spot receives £21.14. The winners are as followed:

Raffle Event
In conjunction with the competition, the professional shop held a raffle event for the chance to win golf balls. The raffle tickets were £1 a ticket and the total value of all the tickets contribute to the value of golf balls won. Congratulations to Philippe Giorgetti who had the winning raffle ticket (number 27), receiving £78 worth of golf balls. We hope to provide a similar fun event in the near future with more great prizes up for grabs.

Stuck for ideas this Easter Holiday?
Junior Day - Tuesday, 5 April -Organised during the school holidays throughout the year and suitable for any young junior golfer. The day will consist of fun activities, covering all areas of the game and includes an afternoon on the golf course. The day also includes lunch in the clubhouse, drinks and prizes. The cost of the day is £25 per child.

Summer Driving Range Opening Hours
No matter how bad the weather is our range will always remain open so you can practice regardless. As the evenings are getting lighter the range opening hours have been extended. The new opening times are as follows:
Monday - 8:30am - 5:30pm
Tuesday - 8:30am - 5:30pm
Wednesday - 8:30am - 8:00pm
Thursday - 8:30am - 5:30pm
Friday - 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
Sunday - 8:00am - 5:00pm
The floodlit under cover driving range will remain open late on a Wednesday so you can make the most of your practice.
Masters Sweepstake 2016
The Masters Golf Tournament is fast approaching with all the top golfers in the world competing at Augusta National. The professional shop will be running a sweepstake leading up to the tournament and a there are some excellent prizes up for grabs!
Our sweepstake can be entered through the professional shop where you will find our sweepstake board. Its £5 per box and the players draw will take place on Wednesday, 6 April so remember to enter in time.
New HTX Benross Range Now In
Benross is a well-known golf brand in the UK and delivers top quality golfing products for the everyday golfer. Their main objective is to deliver golf equipment to customers with a more affordable price tag.
