Range De-plug - Monday, 12 April
After a long spell of heavy rain and cold weather our ground conditions on the driving range have continued to suffer. Therefore wet ground had caused our range balls to plug in areas. Our new driving range balls had great feedback and therefore it was decided that a range de-plug was required to recover balls from under the surface. I would like to thank all the volunteers who turned up on Monday morning and helped regardless of the heavy rain. A big thanks to Bernard Glover, Janice White, David Hayward and his grand children who kindly helped on the day.

Sweepstake Draw
The US Masters competition has come to an end and this year's Masters had everyone off their seats for the closing nine holes. After a steady three rounds from Jordan Spieth, it looked as though he would be the ultimate winner of the green jacket again, however a few miss strikes on the 12th hole opened up the competition. England's Danny Willett posted an excellent bogey free 67 on his final round which sealed him the victory over Spieth. Congratulations to Phil Slater who had Danny Willett in our sweepstake and receives £125. In second place winning £37.50 with Lee Westwood was Erica Klim and joining her in joint second place was Jill Bocquet with Jordan Spieth again winning £37.50.

Golf Trolley Garage
If your electric golf trolley needs servicing or repairing you can rely on Golf Trolley Garage to provide an efficient and cost effective service.
