The professional shop would like to give everyone a warm welcome into 2017 with lots of new and exciting things on offer. Our team in the professional shop strive to get all golfers enjoying the game more and provide a service which is efficient, friendly and welcoming to anyone who visits Wells Golf Club. This year in particular will be very exciting as we have introduced a new state of the art piece of software as an addition to the Jack Heginbotham Golf Professional Shop.
New Golf Simulator Studio
An indoor golf studio incorporating the latest screen simulator technology has been built attached to the driving range facility. It will provide an indoor teaching/practice/training facility, for use during the day or night throughout the year.
The simulator includes golf courses from all over the world including Carnoustie, Congressional, Emirates, Prairie Dunes, Coeur D'alene and Hazeltine. There is also an opportunity to practice in the studio using the FSX practice range incorporating targets on a simulated range and 'Nearest the Pin Challenges'.
The new simulator facility will be available to hire by both members and non-members. Below are the prices and breakdowns for the services we offer.
Studio Hire Charges
- One hour hire - Members - £20. Non-members - £25.
- 30 minute practice - Members - £12.50. Non-members - £15.
Total cost for room hire, up to four people. Society packages from £2 per person (Nearest the Pin or Longest Drive).
Custom Fitting Options
Woods - 45 minutes - £25.
Irons - 45 minutes - £25.
Putter - 30 minutes - £20.
Gapping test - 30 minutes - £20 (Includes a print out of data).
Ball fitting - 30 minutes - £20 (Includes a sleeve of three balls).
Fitting charge deducted if purchase is made.
Golf Lessons
Individual lessons using the Swing Studio can be tailored to your requirements. What types of lessons can be covered in the studio?
Distance control with wedges giving accurate yardages.
Putting lessons using our 18ft indoor putting green, training aids and iPING technology.
