Texas Scramble Event

This Saturday's competition has only one more space available at 11:50am for the Two Man Texas Scramble event, the format is as follows:

Two players per team.
Seven drives per player.
White tees.
25% of combined handicap.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place. Cost of entry is £10 per team which includes team two spots. Hurry before you miss out on a great event. To book call the shop on 01749 679059.

Simulator Winter League

We are delighted to share with you an exciting competition that will be taking place in our new indoor studio. The competition will be open to men, ladies and juniors and will be played over some fantastic courses in warm and dry conditions throughout the winter months. This is an excellent opportunity to get some competitive golf in when the weather isn't on our side and play some world famous courses in the process. You will also be able to purchase food and drink whilst playing in the studio. The format for the Winter League is as follows:

Nominated nine holes each month.
Individual nett event.
Enter in two, three or four balls.
Overall Order of Merit winner.
Monthly winners.
£10 entry per nine holes (you can enter as many times as you'd like each month but only one score will be added to your aggregate each month). To be the overall Order of Merit winner you must enter each month (January, February, March and April).

Re-grip at a Reasonable Price

We currently have a selection of grips available for only £5 (fitted) including the #1 grip on tour, Golf Pride. This offer is only available on selected grips while stocks last. We have sets of grips available ranging from Lamkin, Callaway, Golf Pride, Black Widow and Egigio and there are also loose individual grips as well. We provide a 24 hour turn around re-gripping service so you can pick the clubs up the following day. For more information about grips, please ask a member of staff about what grip might suit you best.

Custom fitting for putters with our iPING Fitting System available on our indoor putting surface

iPING The iPING app analyses and displays your consistency on a screen using three main factors:

Stroke type (determined by how much the putter face rotates during the forward stroke).
Impact angle (the putter's face angle at impact, relative to address).
Tempo (a measure of the duration of the backswing relative to the forward swing).

The app works by computing consistency over a series of five putts where your stroke type, impact angle and tempo are measured, displayed and stored for every putt in that session. The iPING Fit feature matches you with the PING putter models that fit your stroke type. Matching your putter to your stroke type is the key to greater consistency and lower scores.
