Masters Sweepstake
The first Major of the year has come to an end and one of the most talked about events in golf has created more enthusiasm for the game as the season gets well underway. Some of you may of watched the thrilling golf played by the final pairing of Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia. No doubt many of you will agree that will go down as one of the most thrilling final days in Masters history. Not very often will we route against an Englishman, but I for one was cheering Garcia on the whole way. Sergio has had his fair share of Major tournament heartbreak and has not really come close since 2007/08 when he had then lost out twice to Padraig Harrington, and having since written himself off stating "I will never win a Major", it was more than satisfying to finally watch him get over the line. Thank you to everyone who took part in our Masters Sweepstake, in total we had 36 entrant with a first prize of £100. The results are as follows:
First place - Sergio Garcia - Ian Baldwin - £100 credited to shop account.
Second place - Justin Rose - Mike Edgar - £50 credited to shop account.
Third place - Charl Schwartzal - Glynis Slater - £30 credited to shop account.
