Ladies Autumn Meeting

The Ladies Autumn Meeting saw a good number enjoying the good weather which encouraged some high scores in the Waltzing Matilda Bowmaker. Out in front were Jane Hilborne, Jen Jones and Silvia Gibbon with 70 points. The runners-up, just one point behind, were Kim Lord, Kathy Lane and Janette Norris. In third place were Cath Levell, Jannette Ambrosini and Chris Gee.

Indoor Winter League Reminder

Just to remind everyone the popular winter league has started this month and we have already had a good amount of entries. Once again we will be running an Order of Merit over the six rounds with the leaderboard being updated and available to view every month. Thanks to a new software update we also have a new variety of courses which we will be running the league over. The rules are as follows:

• £10 entry per round or enter all six rounds for £50.
• Played over nine holes.
  
• 90% handicap allowance.
  
• Stableford scoring.
• Each round played over a nominated course each month.
  
• Order of Merit running from October to March.
  
• To be played with a maximum of three people.

Titleist Ball Fitting Day - Thursday, 19 October (12:30pm to 4:30pm)

Wells Golf Club has the unique opportunity to host the Titleist Golf Ball Fitting Team on Thursday, 19 October from 12:30pm – 4:30pm. Come find us on the driving range or alternatively book an appointment in the shop. Please take advantage of this complimentary service that Titleist are offering. You’ll get a 20 minute discussion/fitting about which Titleist balls will work best for you and how they can help improve your game. We have the following times available; 1:10pm, 1:30pm, 1:50pm, 2:30pm, 2:50pm, 3:10pm, 3:30pm, 3:50pm and 4:10pm.

Our Callaway Custom Fitting event is coming up soon which gives you the opportunity to try the popular Epic range from Callaway.
