Odyssey Stroke Lab Putters
Most golfers’ putting strokes are inconsistent, yet most putting technologies focus on improving alignment or improving the quality of roll. They attempt to mask a given stroke’s weaknesses instead of improving those weaknesses. Odyssey’s new Stroke Lab putter line helps improve the stroke through a change in weight distribution. TaylorMade have delivered a product that has placed them at the forefront of the market, allowing golfers to break boundaries in terms of both speed and accuracy. Click here for more information. |
PING G410 Irons and Hybrids Irons PING’s engineers have specifically targeted a sleeker design with the G410, and while there’s a shorter blade length, less offset and a super clean look. There is also 8% more forgiveness than PING’s previous model, the G400. |
Hybrids For the first time, PING have added an adjustable hosel to the G410 hybrid, with eight different settings making the fitting process even more specific to the golfer's needs. Both loft (0, +1°, +1.5°, -1°, -1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flat) can be adjusted in order to optimise ball flight for more consistent and desired ball flights. Fitting Studio developments Further developments have been made to the Fitting Studio on the Driving Range. This week the professional team have been installing the fitting shafts to the studio walls and have also applied a new net for the simulator screen. This allows our custom fittings and lessons to be carried out indoors in the warm and dry. More developments will be made this week and we are excited to utilise this fantastic facility for custom fitting and coaching. |
We all love new golf equipment – be it balls, clubs or shoes; there’s nothing like stepping out onto the course knowing that everything in your bag is in pristine condition. Except, for the majority of golfers, there’s always one thing which is often forgotten about... |
| How old are your grips? |
| Losing control during your swing? |
|
If you pulled a club out of your bag now, what state would your grips be in? You’ll probably notice that they’re at the very least losing some of the tackiness they once had or, in the worst cases, worn away so badly that they’re completely unrecognizable - a clear sign they need to be replaced. The benefits to getting your clubs regripped are huge, and they can even improve your performance. Take the ALIGN grips from Golf Pride; these have a raised edge on the back (red part of grip seen here) to perfect your hand placement every time. |
|
As you can see, we're currently running a promotion where you can get your 7-iron regripped for FREE; all you need to do is pop in-store and decide which of these grips you want to try out. |
