Kobe Adams won the recent Total Triumph Winter Series event at Tall Pines, topping the leaderboard with a one-under-par round of 69.
After a cold start, the weather improved, and the course was in excellent condition with blue skies. Adams began his round slowly, dropping strokes at the third and fourth holes. However, he quickly recovered with a birdie at the reachable par five fourth hole. He dropped another stroke at the seventh but responded with a birdie at the eighth.
His final bogey of the day came at the challenging 10th hole, but three birdies in his final seven holes saw him end under par. He picked up strokes at the 12th, 15th, and 17th holes. His total of five birdies and his back nine score of 33 was enough to claim both sweeps on offer, with his round leaving him one clear of Gloucester and Somerset PGA secretary Mark Singleton.
